Dalam rangka melaksanakan program kerja Himpunan Mahasiswa Periode I khususnya dalam bidang minat dan bakat maka Divisi Minat dan Bakat bermaksud mengikuti acaraDies Natalisyang setiap tahun diadakan oleh Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa Poltekkes Kemenkes Semarang. Kegiatan ini mempertemukan seluruh civitas akademika Poltekkes Kemenkes Semarang dalam serangkaian acara kegiatan Dies Natalis seperti perlombaan dibidang akademik, non-akademik, dan kesenian. Untuk mengikuti serangkaian acara Dies Natalis ke XVI Poltekkes Kemenkes Semarang, Himpunan Mahasiswa Jurusan Rekam Medis dan Informasi Kesehatan telah mengadakan pelatihan dan bimbingan oleh pelatihan dari jurusan sebagai wadah untuk menyalurkan minat dan bakat para mahasiswa

Kegiatan Dies Natalis XVI dilaksanakan pada hari Jumat – Minggu, 21 – 23 April 2017 di Kampus III Semarang Politeknik Kesehatan Kemenkes Semarang dengan jumlah 43 peserta kontingen dan 17 official dari jurusan Rekam Medis dan Informasi Kesehatan. Acara dimulai dengan upacara pembukaan pada hari Jumat 21 April 2017. Pada tanggal 22 April 2017., semua kontingen berkumpul dilapangan untuk upacara terlebih dahulu kemudian pembagian tempat perlombaan. Perlombaan diadakan di Kampus III, Lapangan Futsal Fanny, Gedung Parmadi Utomo, Lapangan Voli MAN 2 Semarang, Lapangan Voli Kampus I Semarang dan Auditorium Kampus 1 Semarang. Pemberangkatan peserta menuju tempat perlombaan di luar Kampus III menggunakan transportasi yang disediakan oleh panitia Dies Natalis XVI dari pukul 08.00- 17.00

Pengumuman pemenang lomba dilaksanakan sebelum upacara penutupan pada tanggal 23 April 2017. Jurusan Rekam Medis dan Informasi Kesehatan mendapatkan juara pada perlombaan ;

  2. Juara 2 Tenis Meja Putri
  3. Juara 2 Voli Putri
  4. Juara 2 Debat Bahasa Inggis
  5. Juara 2 Penelitian Kreatifitas Mahasiswa
