Program Diploma 3 Jurusan Rekam Medis dan Informasi Kesehatan merupakan institusi pendidikan yang berada dibawah naungan Politeknik Kesehatan Kemenkes Semarang, dalam menghasilkan Tenaga ahli Madya di bidang Rekam Medis dan Informasi Kesehatan dengan gelar Ahli Madya (Amd) Rekam Medis dan Informasi Kesehatan berupaya memberikan kompetensi yang terbaik untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan ketrampilan pada para mahasiswa.
Dengan demikian para mahasiswa yang telah lulus diharapkan mempunyai bekal yang cukup dalam menghadapi dunia kerja. Sebelum meninggalkan kampus yang tercinta dan untuk mempererat tali silaturahim perlu diselenggarakan suatu kegiatan yang disebut Penglepasan Lulusan.
Kegiatan Penglepasan Lulusan merupakan kegiatan rutin Jurusan yang dilaksanakan untuk melepas lulusan yang akan wisuda di tingkat Direktorat. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan dihadiri oleh seluruh civitas akademika, dosen, perwakilan orang tua/wali lulusan, dan organisasi profesi.
Penglepasan lulusan merupakan suatu kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh civitas Program Diploma 3 Jurusan Rekam Medis dan Informasi Kesehatan Kemenkes Semarang dalam rangka melepas / menghantarkan lulusan yang telah menyelesaikan Program Diploma 3 Jurusan Rekam Medis dan Informasi Kesehatan menuju dunia kerja. Dilaksanakan pada Rabu, 7 September 2016 bertempat di Hotel Grasia Semarang, diikuti oleh 54 calon wisudawan Prodi D3 RMIK Poltekkes Kemenkes Semarang serta para tamu undangan dan stakeholder.
Rangkaian kegiatan ini dilakukan Penglepasan berupa pengalungan samir oleh Ketua Jurusan, pemberian plakat dan ucapan selamat oleh Ketua Jurusan, sambutan dari wakil lulusan, orang tua, penyerahan lulusan kepada alumni dan profesi, serta ramah tamah.
Pembantu Direktur, Ketua Jurusan, Sekretaris Jurusan dan Ketua Program Studi) menandatangani Pakta Integritas sebagai perwujudan dari komitmen budaya anti korupsi di Poltekkes Semarang.Penandatanganan Pakta Integritas dimaksudkan pula untuk mewujudkan Poltekkes Semarang sebagai Wilayah Bebas dari Korupsi (WBK) yang rencannya pada bulan Oktober akan ditinjau dari tim Inspektorat Jendral Kementrian Kesehatan untuk menilai apakah Poltekkes Semarang sudah layak dan memenuhi sebagai institusi yang menyandang predikat WBK. Apabila Poltekkes Semarang dapat meraih predikat WBK selanjutnya akan diusulkan sebagai isntitus yang WBBM (Wilayah Birokrasi Bersih dan Melayani) dengan tim penilai dari Kementrian Pendayagunaan Aparatur Negara.
