Sejalan dengan upaya peningkatan kompetensi sumber daya manusia yang handal menuju terciptanya anak bangsa yang berkualitas tinggi, maka pendidikan D III Rekam Medis dan Informasi Kesehatan dituntut untuk merealisasikan pendidikan akademik yang berkualitas dan relevan dengan kebutuhan pembangunan, dengan penatan system manajemen yang baik agar tercapainya efektivitas dan efisiensi yang tinggi.
Dalam rangka menilai kemampuan mahasiswa D III Rekam Medis dan Informasi Kesehatan diperlukan mekanisme evaluasi hasil proses pembelajaran dalam bentuk Pentahapan Penilaian kompetensi (PPK). Untuk itu diperlukan Workshop Penyusunan Pedoman Pentahapan Penilaian Kompetensi untuk mahasiswa D III Rekam Medis dan Informasi Kesehatan Poltekkes Kemenkes Semarang sehingga terlaksana ujian PPK untuk standar kompetensi lulusan yang telah ditetapkan. Bertempat di Auditorium Lantai 4 Gedung Layanan Pendidikan Poltekkes Kemenkes Semarang, pada Selasa-Kamis 15-17 Maret 2016 telah diselenggarakan Workshop Penyusunan Pedoman Pentahapan Penilaian Kompetensi Jurusan Rekam Medis dan Informasi Kesehatan Poltekkes Kemenkes Semarang.
Sebagai peserta dalam kegiatan workshop ini adalah Ketua Jurusan RMIK Poltekkes Kemenkes Semarang, Sekretaris Jurusan RMIK Poltekkes Kemenkes Semarang, Dosen-dosen Jurusan RMIK Poltekkes Kemenkes Semarang, dan Pengelola Juruan RMIK Poltekkes Kemenkes Semarang serta Clinical Instructure dari lahan praktik. Kegiatan workshop ini dihadiri oleh Direktur Poltekkes Kemenkes Semarang Bapak Sugiyanto, S.Pd, M.App.Sc yang sekaligus memberikan sambutan serta membuka kegiatan workshop secara langsung.
Setelah sambutan dan pembuakaan kegiatan oleh Direktur Poltekkes Kemenkes Semarang, dilanjutkan dengan penyampaian draft Pedoman PPK Jurusan RMIK Poltekkes Kemenkes Semarang oleh Ketua Jurusan RMIK Poltekkes Kemenkes Semarang Bapak Edy Susanto, SH, S.Si, M.Kes. Dilanjutkan dengan diskusi penyususan Pedoman PPK Jurusan RMIK Poltekkes Kemenkes Semarang yang dimoderatori oleh Sekretaris Jurusan RMIK Poltekkes Kemenkes Semarang Ibu Irmawati, S.Kp, Ns, M.Kes.
Sebagai narasumber pada kegiatan workshop ini adalah Bapak Heru Sipriyatno, MN dari Jurusan Keperawatan Poltekkes Kemenkes Semarang yang menyampaikan materi tentang Item Development dan Item Review.
